Sasha Edelman began her training at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet with Marcia Dale Weary. Ms. Edelman also trained with The Kirov Academy, Harid Conservatory, Magaly Suarez, and attended the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre graduate program where she performed in Terrance Orr’s The Nutcracker, and George Balanchine’s Who Cares?, Paquita and Etudes. Since joining Ballet Arizona in 2007, Ms. Edelman has appeared in Balanchine’s Stravinsky Violin Concerto, Allegro Brilliante, Divertimento No. 15, Apollo, La Valse and The Four Temperaments. Ms. Edelman has been featured in Ib Andersen’s Romeo and Juliet, The Sleeping Beauty; and she originated a role in Andersen’s Diversions, which she performed on the Kennedy Center stage in June 2010.
