Elice McKinley began her training at the age of nine at Ithaca Ballet. At 14, she moved to Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet where she trained for four year. Ms. McKinley moved on to the Miami City Ballet School on full merit scholarship, where she performed with the professional company in Nutcracker, Coppélia and Ballet Imperial. She joined Miami City Ballet in 2005 and danced with the company for four years performing many Balanchine ballets, including Symphony in Three Movements, Western Symphony, Symphony in C, Serenade and La Valse. She also performed "Little Red Riding Hood" in Sleeping Beauty and was in the original cast of Twyla Tharp's "Nightspot." Ms. McKinley participated in summer programs at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Chautauqua, Miami City Ballet School, American Ballet Theatre, and was accepted to the School of American Ballet.
